Ellicott City flood: How to help give and receive help

•A food bank will open at 8 a.m. Monday at the Community Action Council of Howard County. Donations accepted.

•Donations for merchants and residents: www.HelpEllicottCity.com

• Football teams will be collecting food dontations from 4-7 p.m. Monday at Howard High School.

•A Recovery and Information Session for those affected by the storm will be held Monday at 4:30 p.m. at the Ellicott City 50+ Center

•Howard County Executive Allan Kittleman urged a delay in donations of construction supplies because officials do not know yet what will be needed.

•The Roger Carter Center will re-open for normal operations and relief efforts at 6 a.m. Monday.

• Those who need aid can call 410-313-2900.
